Just an ordinary lad who also lives just next door and who does nothing but explore on God's greatest astonishing conception which others would normally refer to it as existence in general. Erwin John Villarin y Valdez second from the late 18-year old Rodolfo Villarin y Valdez Jr, the two siblings of Rodolfo Tadina y Valdez Sr & Asuncion Imperial y Villarin, was born and raised in Philex Mines. Philex Mining Corporation is the only remaining copper-gold mining company in the Philippines since 1955. The place where Tabatlog (a Filipino slang for a chubby toddler), as what Erwin's parents use to address him when he was still at his pre-school years, spent his primary, secondary and related childhood know-hows alike.

Tabatlog and his brother Jun-jun stayed in their province with their mother while his father stayed alone in Philex to earn a living for family support. He spent his grade one at Dalumpinas Elementary School located at Dalumpinas Este, City of San Fernando La union (province of his father). After a year tabatlog's parents decided that their entire family should rather stay together. In his mid primventure (primary adventure that is) at Philex Mines Elementary School his nick name Tabatlog was changed to Jan-jan (taken from his second name John), used both by his playmates and parents as well, because he already does not poses the very purpose of being called as such.

His secondary schooling at Saint Louis High School - Philex was a bit scandalous, traumatic and other natural secondary experiences so to mention. He had his first worth-forgetting girl friend when he was in his late third year. He joined a lot of teenager groups from religious group of youngsters down to those a bit bastard ones; name it he was ones a part of them all! Not until when he met his weird, problematic and scandalous (in a way) but nice and real peers Elmhor, Franklin, Rodelito and among others...

College life of Erwin was really more horrible so to describe. It was full of miseries and unending surprises. College friends were his only hopes to survive college - James, Kryztyn, Michael and Ramzie were just a few of them. He decided to work in a Jollibee restaurant out of despair while he was still studying and the most challenging part there was...no one ever knew, not even his close peers, best friends and even his parents were not exempted from not knowing that he was a working student and one thing more challenging about it... he was taking his final thesis back then! Whatever reasons leading to that decision are not really known by anyone, it was just mentioned that he had a big problem and will remain that way and will forever be left unsaid (bothered? me too...). There he met his Jollibee friends Darmie, Dina, Sheng, Jamie, and his best friend Richard.

To make his entire schoolventures short... he graduated as an intelligent learner, victorious being and above them all with each and every students' desire... the precious DIPLOMA..!
